Howdy. We’re pleased that you’ve taken the time to view our website.

Whether you are a seasoned dancer, a beginner or haven’t danced at all – here, you will find lots of information about both square and round dancing.

The tabs at the top of the page are loaded with information on our history, the State Festival, Scholarships for our teen dancers, links to other sites and a host of other information. We also have links to the various Districts which compose of the Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers® (TSFSRD). Information for the 2023 State Festival, which will be held in Bryan, Texas, can also be found here.

Dancing is a great form of exercise physically, mentally, and good for the soul. It is a wonderful social activity for the whole family, young and those young at heart. Modern American Square Dance is the Americas Folk Dance. The Texas State Federation of Square and Round Dancers® promotes several types of dancing. We have clogging, line dancing, contra, round dancing as well as many levels of square dance. Just click on the links below for locations nearest you.
